IMA World Health is seeking to recruit a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to be located in Kinshasa, DRC, Congo.
Reporting to and working closely with the AVP International HR People and Diversity, the HRBP will directly support the Managing Director and respective BU Leadership Team including the Country Director. S/he will play a crucial role in aligning Corus and HR objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP will serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to the Business Unit (BU) Leadership and country management on HR-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. In addition, s/he will be responsible for driving the people strategy and organizational development initiatives across their designated BU. This role requires partnering with senior leaders and employees to foster a high-performance culture, improve employee engagement, and support global HR programs delivery and strategic initiatives.
Key Result Areas;
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in management, business administration, law, human resources management or relevant related field is required with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree in human resources management, business administration, organizational psychology or development with at least five (5) at the senior manager level or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. HR certifications like CHRP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalents (preferred).
S/he should have demonstrable experience in administering core HR functional areas and strong business process/analysis. S/he should have strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices, with efficient process. Knowledge of USAID and other institutional donor HR regulations is preferred. In addition, s/he should have proven technology skills and experience with ability to utilize Enterprise-wide systems and tools for efficiency. The candidate should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, s/he should excellent communication skills and should be fluency in French & professional proficiency in English is required.
