Nous recherchons un chef de projet expérimenté(e) pour gérer l’organisation de projets clés de développement commercial pour les activités de Glencore Copper en République démocratique du Congo.
En tant que chef de projet, votre travail consistera à coordonner les personnes, les processus et les ressources pour vous assurer que nos projets sont livrés à temps et produisent les résultats souhaités. Vous serez la personne de référence pour tout ce qui concerne l’organisation et le calendrier des projets.

Project Manager - Glencore DRC
Job brief
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key Business development projects for Glencore Copper activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people, processes and resources to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinating internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Communicating to key stakeholders in order to ensure alignment and coordination.
Tasks
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Provide assistance to the Vice President – Business Development when required.
Reporting structure
• You will be reporting to the Vice President – Business Development (Glencore DRC).
Academic requirements
• A Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field
• A Post Graduate Business Qualification would be advantageous
Skills & Experience
• Proven working experience as a project administrator
• A Minimum of 7 Years of experience in the field of Project Management or other relevant experience
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent Budgeting and cost management skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project in particular
Other Requirements
• The role will be based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with several travels within the country.
• Preference will be given to nationals of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and members of the Congolese Diaspora at large.
• The incumbent must have the ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters.
• The incumbent must have the ability to work within a team.
• The incumbent will have to comply to the company values.
