The specificity of the polio portfolio, classified as an emergency program, lies in the multiplicity of projects and budgets designed to support the different components of the program. The Financial Associate must navigate between the different budgets of the projects in the portfolio for which he or she will be responsible for daily maintenance, and have a sense of proactivity, pay close attention to detail, and handle the budget monitoring and control tool with dexterity. He will work very closely with BMGF team and partners, such Mc King consultants, to ensure smooth execution of activities and processes until completion of objectives and tasks. This position plays the pivotal role within the project's Finance team and reports to the Director of Finance and Administration to assist him in the development, monitoring and control of budgets related to the implementation of the Polio program. The incumbent will be the financial focal point for the BMGF Polio projects in DRC.
The finance associate should ensure full alignment/understanding with BMGF and Mc King consultants’ orientations regarding projects objectives and deliverables and all actions taken should be compliant with donor’s terms and conditions and PATH policies and procedures.
