Our work began in 1973, with the provision of life-saving reproductive health technologies for health systems in several countries. Today we have offices on four continents. We train providers and work with health systems to ensure high-quality SRHR services are available, accessible. We also partner with local organizations to educate women and their communities on their rights.
Position Purpose
The Policy and Advocacy Officer will work under the supervision of the Policy and Advocacy Advisor to support Ipas’ work at the country level with stakeholders and policy makers to promote and safeguard women’s access to comprehensive SRHR.
The Policy and Advocacy Officer will assist the Policy and Advocacy Advisor to work closely with local organizations bolstering strong intersectional partnership aimed to supporting national ownership and movements building.
The position is for 3 months to cover a staff who is on maternity leave.
