The Activity is expected to improve population wellbeing and to enhance agricultural productivity and markets in ways that protect and restore ecosystems and biodiversity by empowering local ownership and agency over decision making and natural resource management. The long-term aim is to reduce deforestation and forest degradation rates while increasing food security, enhancing access to safe and nutritious foods, protecting biodiversity, and creating job opportunities and sustainable livelihoods. The successful candidate will be based in Buta, DRC and report to the Senior Vice President, Conservation Strategy, Impact and Learning.
